OnePlus phones are joining the row of top-of-the-line smartphones and amassing an Apple-like following of dedicated fans. The company is back with an exciting new round of OxygenOS updates for its OnePlus 8 series. The recent update has a quite long changelog, including various improvements and fixes for the camera, network, and system. OnePlus is also including the May 2020 Android security patches with this update.
The changelog incorporates some overlapping software updates with the OxygenOS update that rolled out a month ago to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The additional changes are found to be in the camera section of the changelog. There is a new auto ultra-wide-angle lens feature included when taking shots at short proximity to improve the image quality of edges (Pros only).
